Role Summary

The Inventory Associate is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking of stock, and facilitating efficient inventory processes within the warehouse or storage facility. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing products, as well as conducting regular inventory audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain organized storage areas for easy access and inventory management.
• Track inventory levels and report discrepancies to management.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in stock audits.
• Prepare and process orders for distribution.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Operate inventory management software and other tools for tracking purposes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is considered an asset.

Experience:

• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (Microsoft Excel, Dynamics 365 Business Central).
• Familiarity with barcode scanning technology.
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Problem-solving abilities to address inventory challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly and perform physical work such as bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Comfortable working in wet, dusty, and noisy warehouse environments.
• CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per work, day and afternoon shifts

Role Summary & Purpose:

The Production Employee is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of production lines in accordance with company standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and health and safety regulations. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, line efficiency, and overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations

• Set up, operate, clean, and maintain assigned equipment and production lines.
• Ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are met throughout the shift.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or production delays to the Supervisor promptly.

2. Quality & Compliance

• Perform and document all required quality inspections accurately and on time.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and all Black Fly Beverage Company Inc. quality standards.
• Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Report any contamination, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately.

3. Safety & Workplace Conduct

• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safe work procedures at all times.
• Recognize and report hazards or near-misses in accordance with Health & Safety policies.
• Support a respectful, inclusive, and cooperative work environment.

4. Attendance & Team Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, ready to work at the start of the shift and after breaks.
• Notify your Supervisor of any absences or delays prior to shift start.
• Communicate effectively with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced beverage production environment.
• Requires standing for long periods, repetitive tasks, and ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to varying noise levels, moisture, and temperature changes.
• This position involves rotating shift work. Employees must be available to work all shifts as scheduled, including:
• o 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Day Shift)o 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (Afternoon Shift)o 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (Night Shift)
• Overtime, weekend, or holiday work may occasionally be required, with pay and scheduling handled in compliance with ESA standards.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years working in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical dexterity.
• Able to meet rotating shift requirements.
• Reliance attendance is required.
